This page contains the pictures made by my late mother Marijke van den Berg – van Bruinessen (born 22-3-1943, passed away 03-01-2005).
Marijke ran an Art Studio called “De Doezelaar”, this refers to the tool used by painters to smudge out paint. The Art Studio was connected to the farm house where she lived with her husband, Alter van den Berg (born 04-12-1944, passed away 18-11-2024). She taught painting enthousiasts several painting techniques, but was mainly focused on water coloring.
In that period, my mother produced over 300 paintings. Our family has made a selection out of those paintings and that leaves just under 300 paintings of which downsized images are published in this section of my web-page. Full resolution images as well as the paper/canvas original can be purchased. Prints are also available.
The yield of the selling of paintings will be made available to KWF Kankerbestrijding, as both my parents (and some of my friends) have died from that disease.
